Over the course of it’s 40+ year history, The Wild Animal Sanctuary has rescued more than 1,000 animals, and at present, it provides a home to over 750 animals that have been saved from illegal or abusive situations. The rescue stories of these animals are awe-inspiring and can be enjoyed through reading or watching rescue videos. The Sanctuary is home to various species, with an estimated number of each species currently residing here provided below.
