JESSICA BIEL – PLEDGE STATEMENT
I recently had the opportunity to visit the Wild Animal Sanctuary and my heart was touched, in ways beyond describing. The sanctuary’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing home to lions, tigers, bears and other exotic animals that have been abused, abandoned or kept illegally as “pets.” I can honestly say the more than 150 animals who make their homes at the sanctuary are truly loved.
Although you may be aware of my work in movies and television, my real passion is bringing increased public attention and support to important causes and worthwhile charities. I am co-founder of “Make The Difference Network,” an online donation portal that enables non-profit organizations to post important wishes and receive donations online. We are currently working to establish the Wild Animal Sanctuary on the network.
Please join me in supporting the important and necessary work being done by the sanctuary’s dedicated staff and volunteers, and becoming a part of this growing movement to educate the public about America’s growing captive wildlife crisis. The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a national treasure, and a magical place to visit! Colorado is lucky to have such a refuge to call its own.
